Privacy Policy FAQs

Quick answers about how we collect, use and protect your business and website information

Does UnitedSpices sell or share my business information with third parties?

No. We do not sell your business information to third parties, share customer lists with competitors, or disclose proprietary formulations or trade secrets. Information is shared only with trusted service providers such as logistics partners, payment processors and IT providers who assist in fulfilling your order, and only for that purpose.

How can I opt out of marketing communications?

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our marketing emails, by contacting us at sales@unitedspices.in, or by updating your communication preferences directly with our team. You will continue to receive transactional emails related to active orders even after opting out of marketing.

How long does UnitedSpices retain my information?

We retain business information for as long as necessary to maintain the business relationship, meet legal and regulatory obligations such as financial recordkeeping (typically 7 years), resolve disputes, and comply with export control and customs requirements. Information no longer needed is securely deleted or anonymised.

Does the website use cookies?

Yes. We use essential cookies required for website functionality, analytics cookies to understand site traffic, and functional cookies that remember your preferences. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect some website features.

Is my payment and business information kept secure?

Yes. We use SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission, restrict employee access on a need-to-know basis, store data on secured servers with regular updates and backups, and require all employees to sign confidentiality agreements. No method of internet transmission is completely secure, but we maintain commercially reasonable safeguards throughout.

Can I request access to or deletion of my information?

Yes. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the business information we hold about you by contacting our Data Privacy Officer at sales@unitedspices.in. Deletion requests are honoured subject to legal retention requirements, ongoing contractual obligations, and any pending transactions.

Have a Question About Your Data or an Order?

Our team is happy to help with privacy questions, documentation requests, or a new bulk spice enquiry.
